Improve compressed-air system safety with this 1/2" NPT Pneumatic Air Flow Check Valve, designed to automatically restrict airflow if a downstream air hose ruptures. By rapidly reducing escaping compressed air, the valve helps protect against dangerous hose whip and provides an added layer of protection for pneumatic air lines and equipment.
The valve features a shut-off flow range of 85 ±10 SCFM, automatically responding when airflow rises to the shut-off range, such as during a hose failure. Under normal operating conditions, compressed air is allowed to flow through the valve, while excessive airflow caused by a ruptured hose triggers the protective shut-off function.
Built with a durable anodized aluminum housing, the valve features a standard 1/2" NPT connection, measures approximately 3-7/8" in overall length, and has 1-1/2" flats. Rated for pressures up to 300 PSI and operating temperatures up to 160°F, it provides dependable protection for demanding compressed-air applications.
